The following email is going around.. REMEMBER the IRS does NOT work with you through Email. They only send US Postal Service mail. The IRS does not keep track of users emails so any email concerning the IRS or any government agency that is NOT a reply to a question you asked is NOT from that agency but an attemt to get you to click on a FAKE page that gets vital information needed to take your money, or credit history.

FANTASTIC!
After reading the article, I just feel that I really need more info. Could you share some resources ?
The article I wrote was based on information from http://www.Scam-email.com and from experience. The US Government will NOT contact any one about a Stimulus Check by email. They use their own source, the United States Postal Service. Email, is not an OFFICIAL means of communication with the people. It does not provide a paper trail that can be followed should there be a problem. The Government is very anal that way and to a point I agree with it. Allowing the use of Email would give Email Scammers another source of revenue and there is no need to do that. My sources for that info are the US Department of Treasury and the IRS Websites.
