This company is another one of those its too good to be true offers.
They are offering a Nice Camera telling you that you will be testing it for them… NO you are actually buying it.
You have to complete 2 deals that pay them a commission that pays for the camera. Testing means you give them a report. You are using your time to deal with a product. You should not have to BUY something not related to the camera to get to TEST it.
I wish I had the time to investigate many of these but they all seem to be associated with NetFlix and some other companies. I do not do Netflix because of this association with these crappy companies. (Crappy in my estimation, feel free to make your own evaluation.

Such a scam. Here’s your 500 camera and your $1300 Apple
Bonus if you do it right now. Who needs magazines? I hate them
all i want to know is on hte internet. The last offer is something you have to buy andd keep and cost about the same buying the camera and th apple. TOTAL SCAM OF COURSE
My fiance just got a camera from direct camera deals in the mail. The letter says he was one of a limited few who has only to fill out a survey. Supposedly he falls under the “product tester” clause in the terms and conditions. I’m a bit skeptical, but so far so good, the camera is here.
I am sure there are legitimate testing companies out there. BUT if you have to buy a bunch of stuff to get a Camera it is NOT FREE.
Jennifer I have to call BULL on you. Unless he bought numerous things from the scammers he didn’t get a free camera.
Too many scam reviews on that company.
They need to send me a one as a real tester! Netflix is a good company, but as with all companies that pay for referrals, scum will find their way to your door.
There are so many things wrong with the “order form” that should lead a keen-eyed browser to see the suspicious signs. Number 1: No matter what you type in for you ZIP code, it says “Good news! We’re accepting orders from “VALUE”, even if the zip code doesn’t exist. For instance, they are apparently accepting orders from “00000″ regardless of the fact that 00000 is an invalid code. Additionally, the date that the “free macbook air” deal supposedly ends is always the date that the page is being viewed on.
Always think before you submit information to sleazy websites like this, and you have a point about NetFlix.
The BBB actually gives the parent company an A+
Ben, the BBB didn’t give the company an A+, that was the first image on the page that they use as an example. When I searched the BBB, they didn’t have the company in it’s records. Bad sign. Stay away from this site.
Actually, doing a google search for that website brings up this page on the BBB website:

About a 3rd of the way down is a list of DBAs, directcameradeals.com being 5th on the list.
That’s not to say this isn’t a shady company. They’re just better at scamming than others.
