Nothing really new here. I have several scams like this posted on my main website Scam-email.com
Basically someone is offering to cut you in on an illegal activity. They need you to send them some money so that they can finish the deal and submit papers. This is one of those Nigerian Scams you hear so much about.

Good ole McRae Shelton! lol the email did not tell what the surname was but it certainly fit nearly everyone in the world. Just silly at this point…do they really expect there will still be ppl who have computers and email addys who will fall for this scam??
If so, who are those ppl and do they want to buy a bridge?
i almost fell for thuis bullshit! something needs to be done about this peice of shit
I went along with it for a lil while and they sent me a death certificate and told me the money they was going to send me was at barkleys bank plc waiting for me to open a transit account. good thing i do my home work before i go through with stupid s*** like that.
