This is the basic scam that got me into the Blogging business. This scam is very ingenious and seems to work on occasion, especially during economic times like this. I saw it first just after the Hurricanes in Florida in 2004 when fishing guides were in desperate straights. Many could not fish for over 3 months due to damage to the coast and the 3 hurricanes that crisscrossed the state. For More on how the scam works scroll down after looking at this Email…

The letters are almost identical each time, changes include #days and Number of Guests. One version uses a Religious group as the travelers and asks for accomodations for up to 12.
The scam works in one of 2 ways..
1. They book the rooms, and tell you they are sending a check to cover expenses and OH YEAH we need to send too much as our book keeper has this thing about one check for one trip… Meaning you get yours and then send on the extra to the airplane guy, travel guy or someone else. The check is very good, it is usually cashed by your bank and then a week later it comes back as a FRAUD. By the time you know about it they are richer to the tune of whatever the extra amount you sent on was. Normally this goes for around $5000 total with the send on in the 1 to 2thousand dollar range. Some are less greedy and only go for a few hundred. Some major players have been caught on this scam.
2. The do the same thing only with a credit card. You think you are OK but in the end, because you did not see the card, or have it in hand you are held accountable and the money comes out of YOUR account. If you do not get this part write me an email and I will call you and explain personally. Jimd072@aol.com see I am dedicated to putting these assholes out of this business .
I run Fishing Guide and Hunting Guide directories and they have taken some of my best clients for a LOT of money.
See more about this on www.Scam-Email.com and on my Fishing Guides Home Page site, where I have links to several letters like this and how they work

Hi
Thanks for your reply. I am glad to tell you that the price is acceptable by my clients and they are willing to make a deposit payment immediately. Due to their acceptance, I have concluded payment with them also.I have been instructed to pay you for your services and provision of a language translator whom would be able to translate every word to them because they are Swiss.I have arranged this with a linguist who is willing to undertake these responsibilities on their behalf. He would be with them throughout their stay with you.
I will send you my credit card details when I receive your confirmation email so that you would charge as agreed/authorized by my clients.
However upon the receipt of my credit card, confirm you will charge as follows:Take the cost of your services plus 6450euros for the Translator from my card. Then deduct your deposit and send the balance of 6450euros to the Translator.I really need you to make the charges for the Translator as he does not have a POS machines.Confirm this and provide me with the following:
