Had the invasion of Iraq never taken place, would the Iranian People be fighting so hard for democracy? The world press can condemn and blame George Bush, but at this moment, a country with nuclear asperations is about to go into full internal meltdown.
Ask your self why the Iranian People would fight so hard for the truth and for democracy. Iranian people have seen the success of democracy in Iraq. While still fragile and in development they would prefer to chose who rules, rather than to BE ruled.

Letterman Apology / Obama Mama In Law News

I have watched from a distance the Letterman controversy. I long ago stopped watching him when his cheap shots at George Bush went over the edge and into the region of paranoid schizo realm. I had heard he had made some comments about Sarah Palin, and while I cringed I did not pay attention until I recently heard of his comments about Palin’s daughters.
First of all even if one of the daughters is 18 years old, she should be off limits. I do not see Dave doing any jokes about the Clinton Girl, Amy Carter, and he refrained from jokes about Caroline Kennedy till she ran for political office. People related to a Candidate should not be part and parcel of the Political Rhetoric in this country. While the daughters pregnancy is relevant to a minor extent, it should not continue to be a subject for Letterman a year after the race. It is over. It has been discussed. The ramifications on the election have come and gone.
However the Letterman apology was not an apology. It was a cop out from a man with too little courage to admit that HE APPROVES ALL JOKES. At some point Dave made a conscious decision to take yet another cheap shot at a Republican. In this case the daughters of a former candidate who is not currently running for anything.
Why would he and any one else do that? Because they want to destroy Palin before she can gain any political standing in the country. She does not have the same belief system as Dave so she must be destroyed and any cheap joke, any salient tid bit should be used to destroy Palin and make her a joke.
If Palin were more like McCain, this would not be going on. However Palin is not afraid to say the things about Barak Hussein Obama that need to be said.
Obama is an inexperienced man, with NO EXPERIENCE in running anything. He has no executive experience, and he is showing his lack of understanding with all of his travel in the face of an America that can not take even a trip down the street for an Ice Cream.
His wife takes an ill advised trip to New York to see the Statue of Liberty and he covers it up, and some poor jerk falls on his sword for him. Now I hear that Obama’s Mother in law is now living in the White House, and drawing a SALARY from the Government???????????????????????
WHAT!!!!!!!!!!
I am paying for the Mother-In-Law to watch the kids???!!!
I have written to the White House asking for information to disprove this rumor. Hoping to get an answer.

This company is another one of those its too good to be true offers.
They are offering a Nice Camera telling you that you will be testing it for them… NO you are actually buying it.
You have to complete 2 deals that pay them a commission that pays for the camera. Testing means you give them a report. You are using your time to deal with a product. You should not have to BUY something not related to the camera to get to TEST it.
I wish I had the time to investigate many of these but they all seem to be associated with NetFlix and some other companies. I do not do Netflix because of this association with these crappy companies. (Crappy in my estimation, feel free to make your own evaluation.

Was Michelle O on Airforce One during the flyover of NY.

I have been trying desperately to find out the truth on this from a source other than one who is in the intelligence industry. While that industry may have an axe to grind, they also know what is what when things like the fly over of New York occur.
The unsubstantiated information I have is that Michelle Obama was on Air Force One when the over flight occurred in March. The idea of a Photo Op was just a cover story for her getting to see the Statue of Liberty from the air and the New York Sky Line.
Not sure of the motivation for this, other than maybe a young woman who grew up feeling resentment towards the country, until her husband was elected.
If someone in the intelligence community wants to verify this I would appreciate it.. if a news organization would ask the question of the President or Mrs. Obama I would also appreciate it.
One thing is clear. For the Airforce to put a Fighter jet up to protect the plane, means that someone was in the plane to protect. After viewing video of the incident it appears that the fighter jet is always BEHIND the plane protecting it. This would be the position from which a counter measure would be taken to prevent shooting down the plane. Since only one plane is protecting Air Force One it is pretty clear that NO pictures were likely taken. If they were then lets see them.
Show proof that you shot the pictures.

The Liberal Scam

I was born a Democrat. I was raised a Democrat. My hero was John F. Kennedy. I supported the Viet Nam War, I did not want to see the spread of the red stain, across asia. I felt at the time that we were helping the Vietnamese People and that they deserved our help to keep from being run over by the communists.
The only vote I ever made for a Republican was for Nixon. I do not recall why other than McCarthy was just too darn liberal for me.
My change from Liberal to Conservative started with a realization.
I wanted life to be fair. I said that once to my good friend and enabler Mike. Mike owned his own business and his first child had died of SIDS. I was explaining to him why a friend should get help for an arm torn off by a machine. Mike finally blew up, he told me that “Life is not Fair” it can not be made fair. If life was fair then his son would not be dead.
That was a life changing moment for me. I finally realized that fair is NOT part of the America I grew up in. We are not all born with good health, we are not all born with genius brains, we can not all play music, sing, or even have all our limbs. Life is NOT FAIR.
My next realization came when a priest I knew told me an old saying… “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, TEACH him to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.”
My change to a compassionate conservative had begun. Most people think if you vote for Republicans you are a Rascist… but the truth is that the Republican Party, is responsible for most of the current legislation that gave Blacks the vote, and the legislation of the 60’s which created equal rights. It was Democrats in the south who kept blacks out of the schoolhouse. I digress.
I discovered that the Democrats who I had believed in were actually enabling the enslavement of poor whites and blacks. Making them dependent on the Democratic Party. How can I say that? Well it is fairly easy, since the truth is that welfare is meant to Give people fish, not teach them too fish. Think about it, we enable poor white and black women to have children without any husband and support them. We give them AFDC, and other monies, and when the kids are grown and have moved out we give them Social Security Benefits. We take care of people from cradle to grave.
This is NOT what the founding fathers wanted for this country.
Even the most liberal of our founders wanted a nation that supported the industriousness of the individual. They wanted the individual to have the right to build a business and to profit from it. When the government takes money from a business, and gives it to someone else, they are taking his or her hard work and encouraging others not to work.
Yes I understand this is not always the case.. .thus my comment that I am a compassionate conservative.
I do donate to charity and to churches. I am willing to help folks with no insurance and drop dollars and dimes into collection bottles.
I have no problem with helping a person whose life has not been fair, but I am not willing to enable some low life who wants to live life on crack and or smoking dope. (YES, I call marijuana dope, cause I see what it has done to people I love. A lifetime of smoking shit has created several marijuana dependent idiots in the family.) I realize that sounds harsh, and I realize alcohol does the same thing. If people could just smoke one a day no biggee.. but lets face it, I have never met a person who could just smoke one. I digress…
I saw my father work hard all his life. I thought that he was working for a company, but in looking back it was not until the confiscatory taxation of the 50’s and 60’s was decreased by Regan that my father actually prospered. He worked for the government not the company. Socialism just changes who you work for. Taxation does nothing but put the government in the position of distributing the wealth and that is NOT governments job.
Democrats want high taxes.
Democrats want government in charge of our lives.
Democrats want fairness… and they beat us over the head with it.

OK, first of all Visa did NOT send this. How do I know? I only have Mastercard.
Second, not sure what the download contains, but it could be anything. If Visa Had a form for you to fill out, it would be online and you could print it online. Downloading any file from an email is dangerous, and Visa KNOWS this. That is why they are smart enough to provide a form on line that you can print, and or fill out. It is easy to set up a form on line to fill out and to verify your credit card does not require you to sign it.

How to Fix the Economy with $40 Trillion

A Great Idea that will never happen!

The Business Section asked readers for ideas on “How Would You Fix the Economy?”
I think this guy nailed it!
Dear Mr. President:
Please find below my suggestion for fixing America’s economy.
Instead of giving billions of dollars to companies that will squander the money on lavish parties and unearned bonuses, use the following plan. You can call it the Patriotic Retirement Plan:
There are about 40 million people over 50 in the work force.
Pay them $1 million apiece severance for early retirement with the following stipulations:
1) They MUST retire. Forty million job openings – Unemployment fixed.
2) They MUST buy a new American car. Forty million cars ordered- Auto Industry fixed.
3) They MUST either buy a house or pay off their mortgage – Housing Crisis fixed.
It can’t get any easier than that!
If more money is needed, then have all members of Congress and their constituents pay their taxes…

New Paypal scam – Targets Ebay and Craigs List users

While I have not had this happen to me yet, there is a new Paypal scam going around. The targets are users of Ebay and Craigs List.
You send a bill using Paypal.com and get a reply stating that the payment has been made. Only problem is that the email you get is a forgery, with faked paypal.com logo’s and account info. They use the email they get with the information on it to send you a faked email that says you got paid. The only way you can tell is to go to your Paypal.com account and verify the money is there.
Another situation is that they use a stolen or fraudulent credit card number and the money gets debited from your account.. though I understand Paypal.com has some protections for that.
Beware getting any letter saying you were paid using paypal.com especially on Craigs List, and in some cases with Ebay.

Here is the scam.
The “Certified Check” is a Washed Check. This is a check that has been cashed already. The check names have been washed off and replaced with amounts and names that will pass muster. However when the bank goes to cash the check on your behalf they will find the check has already been cashed. You will be forced to refund the amount of the check, and will also be out the dates that you booked.

Thank you very much for your response, and your interest in this transaction which i hope we will complete within the next few days as a result of he urgency and importance of this transaction. I am Mr. Su Ning am a Chinese National and the deputy governor of the people’s Bank of China. I am married with two children Lu my daughter and Cheng my son; My address 692, Old Humin Road Xuhui Shanghai, 200237 China and i have lived here for the last 21 years; This address is for your personal use and no mails regarding this transaction should be sent here for confidentiality. I do not wish to receive calls over this transaction since my telephone lines are connected to my office lines and as such i wish to avoid been monitored.

What bothers me most is that since the economic meltdown in China, the government are now monitoring banks and funds deposit and our bank will be visited by the 5th of May 2009.If the government get to discover this funds, they will be confisticated and taken over by the government and all that i have worked for will be in vain.
